“Love Beyond Limits” is an organization founded by Maleka Long to help young ladies reach their full potential. The program hosts events and workshops for young women to empower them through mind, body, and soul. This last year they initiated a program entitled, “13 Stones,” which included 13 workshops encompassing the following topics: Image, love, respect, self-esteem, social skill, education, role of a child, role of a mother, role of a father, meditation, hygiene, abuse, and accountability. Teens who finished all series of the workshops throughout the year were presented with a book including pictures of their participation and pages for them to journal their thoughts. My Story Matters was privileged to create the memory books through Heritage Makers for the “Love Beyond Limits” workshops.
